Held in the vibrant city of Dubai, the Festival spanned two dynamic days and attracted over 6,800 delegates from more than 100 countries. This gathering included government officials, heads of state, academics, business leaders from future-focused industries, and representatives from AI and Web3 firms.

The event featured more than 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest in cutting-edge technologies and innovations.

CXO Magazine had the honor of participating as a media partner at this prestigious event.

The Festival’s agenda was packed with keynotes, panel discussions, and workshops covering topics such as blockchain, decentralized finance, AI-driven innovation, and the future of Web3 applications.

The speaker lineup was a highlight, featuring industry titans such as Mark Minevich, President of Going Global Ventures, and Dr. Marwan Alzarouni, CEO of Dubai Blockchain Center. They were joined by innovators like Tom Zschach, CIO of SWIFT, and Dr. Behjat Al Yousuf, Executive Vice President at the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation. Their insights on the role of AI and Web3 technologies provided invaluable strategies for attendees to implement in their organizations.

A standout moment of the Festival was the announcement of Platma as the winner of the Future Tech World Cup. Platma’s groundbreaking AI-driven solutions impressed the judges and set a new standard for technological innovation.

On the second day, Arif Amiri, Chief Executive Officer of DIFC Authority, delivered a powerful opening remark. He reflected on DIFC's evolution over the past 20 years as a key player in Dubai’s economic diversification efforts. Amiri highlighted the DIFC’s commitment to innovation, which has supported the growth of the Dubai AI Campus. With over 120 firms already attracted to the Campus, DIFC aims to welcome more than 500 companies by 2028, create over 3,000 jobs, expand the Campus to over 100,000 square feet, and secure an investment of $300 million.

Amiri also announced the launch of the Dubai AI Licence, a pioneering initiative designed to attract more companies to Dubai. This new licence follows the success of the DIFC Innovation Licence, which has already drawn over 1,100 businesses. Additionally, DIFC introduced the ‘AI as a Service’ concept, offering companies support in assessing AI readiness, identifying opportunities, and developing and implementing strategies.

The Festival also featured a series of insightful discussions on themes such as inclusion and diversity, decentralized intelligence, risk resilience in vendor management, AI laws and regulations, and the evolving landscape of Web3. Key topics included interoperability, predictive modeling, data visualization, and ethics in Generative AI.

Throughout the event, the Dubai AI Campus signed several significant agreements with organizations such as Dubai Civil Defence, Holon, Kearney, NayaOne, SIEF, Visa, Warba Bank, and Zurich. The Festival was supported by 30 sponsors, with founding and powered partners including the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, Holon, Al Fardan Exchange, and Hyperfusion.
